The scale and I have not been friends lately. Over the last 2 or 3 weeks, I feel like I keep gaining and losing the same flipping pound.. gone one day, back the next. It didn't make any sense; I am doing what I need to do, taking my Slim, walking, etc.. and the scale won't budge.
My other friends who are doing Plexus say to be patient.
It's working, just give it time...
Remember it is about being healthy, not just losing weight...
All valid points, but when I hope to see a change in that damn number, it is frustrating as all hell!
So, there was a little movement yesterday and today, and by little, I mean 1/2 a pound.. but I will take it!
Then, I got out the measuring tape... HOLY CRAP!!!
In my first 4 weeks on Plexus, I dropped 7.5 inches. Pretty cool, right???
IN THE LAST 2 WEEKS I HAVE DROPPED ANOTHER 7.5 INCHES!!! So, the scale isn't moving, but I'm not crazy to think my clothes are getting looser, because they are!!!
So, in nearly 6 weeks, I am down 10 pounds (Im taking that last 1/2 pound and claiming it, Damnit!) and 15 inches!!! My conclusion for why the scale isn't showing the same progress is because I am out there, power-walking and running, and I think Plexus has made it easier for me to build muscle.
And best part? I feel good... I mean I feel really good!! I have energy, my overall outlook on life is good (I've never suffered with depression, per se, but I can say there have been times then life looks grey.. lately, it is all looking good!) And what I used to take of OTC meds? Now I take nothing.
Before, my daily OTC regimen went something like this - 2 Advil first thing in the morning to combat the headache I would wake up with... probably 2 more later in the afternoon, 1 allergy med, at least 1 Prilosec or Zantac, Tums at some point after dinner, Sudafed to clear my sinuses so I can breathe at night.
Now?? Nuthin!! I don't need any of it. Occasionally I sleep funny, and will take an Advil, but truly, that was an EVERY DAY thing - and not any more.
I honestly cannot say enough good things about this line of products..
